West Coast

Golden sandy, sun kissed stretches of sand unfolds the turquoise water of the sea lapping against the shore. Spoiling you for choice with beaches on a 1340km fringe of an island from well-known coastal towns to hidden inlets and coves. The beaches surrounding the island, each different from the other, opens your eyes to all the shades of blue in the colour of wheel. It’s relaxing feeling to watch the waves catch up to the shore and hear the sound of water creating music in the wind. And environment so peaceful at times and so busy at others; always nice to look at, unwind and feel the sea breeze in the air.

Sri Lanka’s west coast is a long-standing tourist region serving a mix of package and independent travellers. The west coast is great spot for water sports between December and April when the seas are calm.
